Background: Rooker had just come home from deployment when the zombie outbreak struck, and he ended up trapped with a group of civilians in a downtown bar. He sawed off his arm and used it to distract the zombies so they could escape, becoming known as a selfless hero. He'll never tell anyone... the arm had just been bitten by a zombie.
